Immersive Virtual Reality
For the Quebec National Holiday, as part of the “Parcours du Solstice” activities held on June 23 and 24, Mixa Vision has put in place an application guiding and documenting the visit of animated historical stations. For the Quebec City Day, July 3rd, Mixa Vision presented the city hall with an immersive virtual reality experience showing the evolution of the city at various times.
About “Parcours du Solstice”
For this third year of programming, and in view of the interest that this activity has generated over the years, the Nocturne du solstice, initially on the 23rd, will be held this year over two days, June 23rd and 24th. It will also be renamed for Les Parcours du solstice. The concept remains unchanged: open doors at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, the Musée de l’Amérique francophone, the Observatoire de la Capitale, and the thematic routes on the streets of the city. In 2016, the Parcours du Solstice is inspired by the theme of Quebec’s 2016 National Day, which is “pure art”. Discover all the facets of our history and our architecture, highlighted in two thematic themed courses.
